The Lost Ones Foundation looks to help further research into mental health issues, along with the benefits for exercise on your mental health. Research is vital to help us understand how mental health conditions develop, how they impact individuals and communities, and how symptoms can be most effectively managed.
Through partnering with Universities across the world we will find more and more answers to help those who are struggling by investing in more research studies.
We believe education is the key to a brighter future when it comes to getting people talking about mental health, for this we have to reach as many people as possible.
Through our online content and fundraising events we aim to further awareness for men's mental health and educate on both the stereotypes of mental health stigma, and the ways we can make an impact. Your support will help the financial costs of producing online material and putting on bigger and brighter fundraising events.
We'll be using part of your donations to sponsor local sports teams, gyms and youth centres, providing better facilities and encouraging more young boys and men to take up sports. We firmly believe in early prevention in mental health issues through Sports and Combat Sports. Teaching young men discipline, the rewards of hard work and providing an outlet for their energy and frustrations, all while building bonds that can last a life time.
We also distribute a portion of donations to other charitable organizations in the mental health space that are doing incredible work, other mental health charities include:
We must point out that as of right now, we are not yet an established charitable organisation, all the correct paperwork has been filed and within the coming weeks we hope to be officially registered! Following all government guidelines we must ensure that this is handled appropriately and advise that we are not currently registered, all donations are held and declared to the correct authorities.
We will soon be updating this information upon becoming an officially registered Charity.
